SIG SAUER FOXTROT-EDC Compact Rechargeable Flashlight

SIG SAUER FOXTROT-EDC Compact Rechargeable Flashlight

The SIG SAUER FOXTROT-EDC Compact is a high-output handheld flashlight sized for everyday carry, duty use, emergency kits, and general low-light tasks. This black compact model is the exact SOFEC001 configuration, identified by UPC 798681680214. It combines concentrated white-light output, rechargeable power, simple tail-switch operation, and a deep-carry pocket clip in a format designed to remain convenient to carry.

High-Output White Light

The FOXTROT-EDC Compact produces 1,350 lumens and 33,000 candela. Lumens describe the total amount of light produced, while candela indicates the intensity of the beam. Together, those ratings give the compact light the output needed to illuminate dark rooms, pathways, vehicles, work areas, and outdoor surroundings while retaining a focused central beam.

The single-output interface avoids complicated mode selection. Pressing the tail switch lightly provides momentary activation, so the light stays on only while pressure is applied. Pressing until the switch clicks provides latching activation for continuous light. This straightforward control arrangement makes it easy to select brief illumination or hands-free constant operation without cycling through multiple brightness settings.

Rechargeable Compact Power

The compact FOXTROT-EDC operates on an 18350 high-capacity lithium-ion rechargeable battery. SIG SAUER rates the light for up to one hour of runtime using the supplied 18350 battery. The battery includes a USB-C charging port, allowing it to be removed from the flashlight and connected directly to the supplied charging cable. An indicator at the positive end turns green when charging is complete.

SIG’s quick-start guide specifies two 18350 rechargeable batteries with the Compact model. Keeping a charged spare available can reduce downtime during travel, work, or extended use. Battery installation is performed by removing the bezel, inserting the charged battery with the negative end first, and reinstalling the bezel securely.

Everyday-Carry Design

A metal deep-carry pocket clip keeps the light positioned low in a pocket while leaving it readily accessible. The black anodized finish provides a subdued appearance suitable for professional equipment, range bags, vehicle storage, or daily carry. Its compact format is particularly useful for buyers who want substantial output without carrying the longer full-size FOXTROT-EDC.
