SIG SAUER ROMEO2 3 MOA Reflex Sight

The SIG SAUER ROMEO2 SOR21300 is a rugged, modular pistol reflex sight built around a fixed 3 MOA red-dot reticle. Its 7075-aluminum housing can be paired with steel protective shrouds to create open, partially protected or fully enclosed configurations. This gives the shooter a compact optic with the flexibility to balance minimum bulk against increased protection from impacts, moisture and debris.

Precise 3 MOA Aiming Point

The 3 MOA dot provides a relatively fine aiming reference within the ROMEO2 family. It covers less of the target than the 6 MOA version at the same distance, making this configuration well suited to shooters who favor a smaller dot for deliberate aiming while retaining the speed and visibility of an illuminated reflex sight. The dot is fixed rather than selectable; circle-dot reticle modes belong to a different ROMEO2 model.

A molded aspheric glass lens and high-performance reflector coatings are designed to provide strong light transmission and low distortion. LensArmor abrasion-resistant coatings add protection against routine handling and exposure. The optic offers true 1x magnification and unlimited eye relief, supporting both-eyes-open viewing when properly mounted and zeroed.

Brightness and Night-Vision Settings

Fifteen brightness settings include 12 daylight levels and three settings optimized for use with compatible night-vision equipment. D.A.R.C. technology uses specialized reticle brightness levels and lens coatings to maintain target clarity when working with Gen 3+ night-vision devices. The range of settings also allows the user to reduce bloom in lower light or increase dot visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

Windage and elevation adjustments move in 1 MOA increments. SIG SAUER lists 100 MOA of total elevation travel and 100 MOA of total windage travel. After installation, the optic should be zeroed with the intended firearm and ammunition, and the mounting fasteners should be checked according to the manufacturer’s specified procedure.

Modular Steel-Shroud System

The ROMEO2’s steel-shroud system supports three protection levels. The sight may be used in an open-emitter configuration, with a shorter shroud for additional impact resistance, or with the full-length shroud and sealed rear window to protect the emitter from dust, debris and moisture. This modular approach allows the same optic to be adapted for different carry, duty, training and field environments.

The sight measures 1.84 inches long and approximately 1.32 inches wide. It uses the SIG PRO footprint shared with the ROMEO1PRO and direct-mounts to compatible SIG pistol slides with the PRO cut. SIG cautions that it does not fit every industry DeltaPoint Pro-pattern cut because recoil-boss dimensions vary, so the exact slide or adapter should be confirmed before purchase.

Efficient Battery Access

A spring-loaded side tray holds one CR2032 battery and allows battery replacement without removing the sight from the slide. That helps avoid disturbing the mounted optic or requiring a complete reinstallation simply to change the battery. Runtime is rated at up to 25,000 hours at a medium brightness setting.

MOTAC motion sensing powers the illumination up when movement is detected and shuts it down during inactivity. MAGNETAC provides compatible-holster activation: a magnet in a compatible holster signals the optic to turn off while holstered, then return to the previous setting when the firearm is drawn.

Durable Construction

The ROMEO2 is IPX7 waterproof and engineered for shockproof and fogproof performance. Its TruHold lockless zeroing system uses twin adjustment springs designed to endure handgun recoil and return to zero. The optic was designed, developed, tested and assembled in the United States.
