SIG SAUER MPX 9mm 20-Round Magazine

SIG SAUER MPX 9mm 20-Round Magazine

Add a compact factory magazine to a compatible SIG MPX setup with this genuine SIG SAUER 20-round magazine. Manufacturer part 8900828 is designed for the 9mm SIG MPX platform and uses a black polymer body. Its 20-round capacity provides a shorter alternative to higher-capacity MPX magazines, making it practical for range use, storage, transportation, and configurations where a more compact magazine profile is preferred.

Magazine fit and feed geometry are critical parts of a reliable firearm system. This factory SIG SAUER model is built specifically around the MPX magazine interface rather than a generic pistol-caliber carbine pattern. The molded body, follower, spring, feed lips, locking surface, and base plate work together to present cartridges consistently and retain the magazine securely in a compatible MPX.

Compact 20-Round Configuration

The 20-round body extends less than a full-size, higher-capacity MPX magazine. That shorter profile can be useful when firing from a bench, working around support bags or barricades, or storing the firearm in a fitted case. It also provides a convenient option for administrative handling and range drills that do not require the maximum available capacity.

The black finish matches common MPX furniture and accessories, while the polymer body keeps weight manageable. A molded magazine also avoids the external seams associated with many stamped-metal designs. The visible body geometry and textured areas support positive handling during loading, insertion, and removal.

Care and Compatibility

Confirm the firearm model and magazine compatibility before ordering. SIG MPX magazines have been produced in multiple generations and configurations, so the exact firearm, magazine body, and intended use should be checked together. Do not force a magazine that does not lock into place or feed correctly.

Keep the magazine clean and dry, and avoid excessive lubricant inside the body where it can attract fouling. Inspect the feed lips, follower movement, spring tension, locking surface, and base plate periodically. Replace any magazine that is cracked, distorted, or damaged. Follow SIG SAUER guidance if disassembly or detailed cleaning becomes necessary.

Magazine-capacity restrictions vary by jurisdiction. Buyers are responsible for confirming that purchase, possession, shipment, and use of a 20-round magazine are lawful at the destination and wherever the magazine will be used.
