Description
SIG SAUER ECHO SV50-LRF Thermal Sight
The SIG SAUER ECHO SV50-LRF combines thermal imaging, laser ranging, onboard environmental sensing, and ballistic support in a single rail-mounted optic. This exact black model is manufacturer part SOEC12310, with UPC 798681702978. It is built around a 50 mm objective and a 2–16× magnification range, giving hunters and property owners a broad field of view for searching plus added magnification for closer inspection of a detected heat signature.
At the center of the system is a long-wave infrared thermal core with 640×512 resolution, a 12-micron pixel pitch, a 50 Hz refresh rate, and thermal sensitivity rated at 20 mK or better. Those specifications are intended to produce a detailed, fluid thermal image and distinguish small temperature differences when visible light is limited. Eight selectable color palettes let the user choose a display presentation that suits the environment and personal preference.
Integrated Rangefinding and Ballistic Support
An integrated laser rangefinder measures targets to a manufacturer-stated distance of up to 1,000 yards. Because the rangefinder is built into the sight, the shooter can collect distance information without moving to a separate handheld device. Onboard environmental sensors add information used by the system’s ballistic functions, helping keep ranging, observation, and data management in one viewing workflow.
The ECHO SV50-LRF is BDX 2.0 enabled and includes Applied Ballistics Ultralight with an extensive bullet database. Compatible settings and ballistic profiles can be configured through the SIG BDX mobile app. The app also provides a path for managing the device and downloading captured media. As with any ballistic aid, users should confirm ammunition data and actual point of impact at the range before relying on a calculated solution in the field.
Capture and Review What You See
Internal 32 GB solid-state storage supports still-image capture and video recording with audio. This makes it possible to document a sighting, review a hunt, or save a record of what was observed without attaching a separate camera. Media can be transferred through the supported BDX workflow, keeping recorded content available for later review.
Rail-Mounted, Self-Contained Design
A cantilevered mount attaches directly to an M1913/Picatinny rail. SIG lists the sight at approximately 10.7 inches long, 4.0 inches wide, and 3.5 inches high. Power comes from two rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion batteries. The replaceable battery format is useful for extended outings because charged spares can be kept available, while the rechargeable design supports repeated use.
The housing is finished in black and pairs the electronic system with SIG electro-optics technologies such as abrasion-resistant lens coatings and motion-activated power management. The result is a purpose-built thermal sight that integrates detection, ranging, ballistic data, and recording in one unit instead of requiring multiple separate devices.

What to Check Before Ordering
Confirm that the host firearm has adequate Picatinny-rail space for the cantilevered mount and that the optic’s dimensions work with the intended setup. Thermal optics are subject to export controls and may also be regulated by state or local law. Review applicable rules before purchase, transport, or use. Follow the SIG SAUER owner’s manual for mounting, charging, firmware or app setup, zeroing, and safe operation.
