SIG SAUER FOXTROT-EDC Full-Size Rechargeable Flashlight

SIG SAUER FOXTROT-EDC Full-Size Rechargeable Flashlight

The SIG SAUER FOXTROT-EDC Full-Size is a rechargeable handheld flashlight designed for everyday carry, duty equipment, vehicle kits, emergency preparedness, and demanding general-purpose use. This black full-size model is the exact SOFEF001 configuration, identified by UPC 798681680221. It combines high-output white light with flexible battery support, direct controls, and a deep-carry pocket clip.

1,350-Lumen, 33,000-Candela Output

The FOXTROT-EDC Full-Size produces 1,350 lumens and 33,000 candela. Lumens measure the light’s total output, while candela describes the beam’s peak intensity. That combination supplies broad useful illumination along with a concentrated center capable of reaching farther into dark spaces. The result is suited to checking property, navigating outdoors, searching a vehicle, inspecting equipment, or providing light during a power outage.

A single-output interface keeps operation direct. Light pressure on the rear push button provides momentary activation and turns the light off when released. Pressing until the switch clicks engages latching mode for continuous illumination. Because the user does not need to cycle through several brightness modes, the desired momentary or constant function remains predictable.

FlexCore Battery Compatibility

SIG SAUER’s FlexCore technology allows the Full-Size FOXTROT-EDC to operate with either one 18650 high-capacity lithium-ion rechargeable battery or two CR123A lithium batteries. CR123A batteries are optional and are not included. With the supplied 18650 rechargeable battery, SIG rates the light for up to 1.5 hours of runtime.

The supplied rechargeable batteries charge through their integrated USB-C ports. Remove a battery from the flashlight, connect the supplied USB-C cable to the battery, and attach the other end to a USB power source. The indicator on the positive end turns green when charging is complete. SIG’s quick-start guide specifies two 18650 rechargeable batteries with the Full-Size light, allowing a charged spare to be kept ready.

Carry and Practical Use

The deep-carry pocket clip keeps the flashlight accessible while positioning it lower in a pocket. The black finish gives the light a restrained appearance appropriate for daily, professional, or emergency use. Compared with the Compact model, the Full-Size version accommodates the larger 18650 power source and offers longer rated runtime, while its ability to accept two CR123A batteries provides another power option when recharging is unavailable.
