Description
Versatile 1x and 5x Optic Package
The SIG SAUER ROMEO-MSR GEN II and JULIET5-MICRO Combo Kit gives an MSR-style rifle a practical sighting system for both close-range speed and more detailed target identification at distance. This exact black package, manufacturer part number SORJMSR501, combines a sealed 1x20mm ROMEO-MSR GEN II red dot with a compact 5x24mm JULIET5-MICRO magnifier. With the magnifier moved aside, the red dot supplies an open, unmagnified view; swing the magnifier into line when five-power observation or a more precise sight picture is useful.
ROMEO-MSR GEN II Red Dot
The ROMEO-MSR GEN II projects a precise red 2 MOA dot, a useful balance between quick acquisition and a refined aiming point. Its parallax-free optical design and clear 20mm aperture support natural, both-eyes-open use, while multi-coated glass helps improve contrast, clarity, and durability. The analog rotary control provides 12 brightness positions: 10 intended for daylight conditions and two compatible with night-vision equipment.
A common CR2032 battery powers the optic, and SIG SAUER rates runtime at up to 35,000 hours under its stated test conditions. The rotary dial makes the selected illumination level easy to confirm by touch or sight. The redesigned see-through riser positions the optic at a 1.41-inch sight height for absolute co-witness with standard-height iron sights on a compatible rail-equipped platform.
JULIET5-MICRO Magnifier
The included JULIET5-MICRO adds fixed 5x magnification behind the red dot. High-performance lens coatings and a dielectric-coated prism are designed to promote strong light transmission in a compact optical system. Its aircraft-grade CNC aluminum housing keeps the unit robust without turning the setup into an oversized conventional scope.
SIG includes a 90-degree push-button flip-to-side mount, so the magnifier can move quickly between its working position and a parked position beside the sight line. That arrangement preserves the simplicity of the red dot while making magnification immediately available. Because the dot and magnifier remain a paired system, there is no need to switch between separate optics when the distance or target presentation changes.
Built for Field Conditions
Both components carry an IPX-7 waterproof rating and are designed for dependable fog-proof performance. The ROMEO-MSR GEN II uses SIG SAUER lens treatments that support clear viewing and help protect exposed optical surfaces. On the JULIET5-MICRO, the coated prism and durable aluminum body complement the same compact, weather-ready approach.
The combination remains streamlined despite offering two very different viewing modes. The ROMEO-MSR measures approximately 2.74 inches long and weighs 5.7 ounces; the JULIET5-MICRO measures approximately 3.1 inches long and weighs 9.6 ounces. Their separate housings also let the user position the magnifier for suitable eye relief while keeping the red dot forward on the rail.

Coordinated Components
Because the sight and magnifier are supplied as one coordinated package, their mounting heights and intended use are already aligned around the same rail-based setup. That removes much of the guesswork involved in pairing separate components and gives the user a consistent starting point for placement, eye relief, and transition between unmagnified and magnified views.
Fit and Setup Notes
This combo is intended for a compatible M1913/Picatinny rail. Before installation, confirm that the available rail space accommodates both components and that the magnifier can be placed for comfortable eye relief. Follow the SIG SAUER manuals for mounting torque, alignment, battery installation, zeroing, and routine lens care. The result is a cohesive red-dot-and-magnifier package built to move efficiently from an unmagnified field of view to a five-power sight picture.
