SIG SAUER ROMEO-X Enclosed PRO 3 MOA Red Dot

SIG SAUER ROMEO-X Enclosed PRO 3 MOA Red Dot

The SIG SAUER ROMEO-X Enclosed PRO SORX1330 is a compact, fully enclosed pistol reflex sight configured with a precise 3 MOA red dot and a black 7075 aluminum housing. Its enclosed optical system protects the emitter from dirt, lint, moisture, and debris that can interrupt the projected dot on an open-emitter optic. The PRO-footprint model is designed around the DeltaPoint Pro mounting pattern and pairs a low deck height with a wide 24mm clear aperture for a streamlined sighting solution on compatible optic-ready pistols.

SIG builds the enclosure from CNC-machined 7075 aluminum and seals and argon-purges the optical system. An aspherical glass lens supports a low-distortion sight picture, while SpectraCoat anti-reflection treatment promotes useful light transmission. D.A.R.C. coatings and brightness programming are optimized for work with compatible GEN 3+ night-vision equipment. The optic carries an IPX7 water-resistance rating for added protection in wet field conditions.

3 MOA Precision and Intuitive Controls

The high-efficiency point-source LED projects a 3 MOA red dot. At 1x magnification and with unlimited eye relief typical of a reflex sight, the shooter can maintain target awareness while presenting the pistol and refining the aiming point. A 3 MOA dot offers a compact reference for deliberate shots without requiring a magnified sight picture.

Independent side buttons provide 15 brightness settings: 12 daylight levels and three night-vision settings. Windage and elevation adjustments move in 1 MOA clicks. The current SIG specification lists 70 MOA of total elevation travel and 65 MOA of total windage travel, providing adjustment range for proper zeroing on a compatible host pistol.

Side Battery Access and Intelligent Power Management

A CR1632 battery installs through a side-mounted compartment with a threaded cap. Routine battery changes can therefore be completed without removing the sight from the slide and disturbing the mounted zero. SIG rates runtime at up to 20,000 hours under its stated test conditions. Actual battery life varies with brightness level, movement, storage, temperature, and battery quality.

MOTAC motion-activated illumination powers the reticle up when movement is detected and shuts it down during inactivity to conserve energy. The optic also supports MAGNETAC operation with a compatible holster containing the required magnet: the sight can switch off while holstered and return to its last setting when drawn. MAGNETAC behavior depends on the holster’s compatibility and proper setup.

Low-Deck PRO Footprint

The ROMEO-X Enclosed PRO uses the DeltaPoint Pro-pattern footprint rather than SIG’s smaller COMPACT footprint. Its ultra-low deck height is intended to permit co-witness with standard-height iron sights on appropriate pistol configurations. Exact fit still depends on the slide cut, sealing plate or adapter, screw dimensions, and the firearm manufacturer’s requirements. Verify compatibility before installation and follow the supplied optic and firearm instructions.

A patent-pending beryllium-copper flexure system supports the adjustment design, while the enclosed housing shields the emitter throughout carry and use. This model is assembled in the USA and backed by SIG SAUER’s Infinite Guarantee under the manufacturer’s terms.
