The SIG SAUER CROSS-MAGNUM Sawtooth in 7mm PRC is a lightweight precision bolt-action rifle designed for demanding backcountry hunts and long-range field use. This exact CROSS-MAG-7PRC-24B-SAW configuration combines a one-piece CROSS MAGNUM receiver with a 24-inch PROOF Research carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel, a folding adjustable precision stock and an ARCA/M-LOK handguard. Moss Green Cerakote protects the rifle’s major exterior surfaces while giving the system a subdued field-ready finish.

24-Inch PROOF Research Carbon-Fiber Barrel

The 24-inch barrel uses a stainless-steel core with a carbon-fiber wrap to balance rigidity, heat management and carry weight. Its 1:8 twist is selected for 7mm PRC projectiles, supporting the high-ballistic-coefficient bullets commonly used for long-range hunting and precision shooting. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 with a 90-degree shoulder and arrives fitted with a heavy-profile stainless radial brake.

SIG SAUER states that the brake can reduce felt recoil by as much as 45 percent, helping the shooter stay behind the optic and manage the powerful cartridge.
