Description
SIG SAUER ZULU-DMR Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit
The SIG SAUER ZULU-DMR is a precision-support tripod engineered for shooting, competition and glassing applications where rigidity and repeatable positioning matter. This SOZT1002 kit combines carbon-fiber legs with a 52mm dual-tension ball head and an ARCA-SWISS-compatible mounting interface. Finished in Flat Dark Earth, it provides a stable foundation for compatible rifles, spotting optics and other supported equipment in varied terrain.
SIG SAUER designed the ZULU-DMR around the same emphasis on durability and field performance found throughout its electro-optics line. The custom carbon-fiber construction helps control flex under load while keeping the complete tripod and ball head to approximately 6.44 pounds. With a rated maximum load of 55 pounds, it offers the capacity needed for substantial precision-rifle and observation setups while remaining manageable for transport.
Adjustable support across uneven terrain
Three-section legs extend the tripod from a minimum working height of 30 inches to a maximum height of 69 inches. Each leg uses three-position detent tabs, allowing the stance to be widened or individually adjusted for seated, kneeling, standing and low-angle positions. Independent leg positioning is particularly useful on slopes, rocks and other uneven surfaces where a conventional fixed stance may not provide level support.
Vented leg tubes help the sections move smoothly during setup and breakdown. Rubber-overmolded twist locks provide a secure gripping surface for changing leg length in wet, cold or gloved conditions. Folded dimensions are approximately 31.8 inches high by 5.9 inches wide, creating a relatively narrow package for transport in a vehicle or attachment to suitable field gear.
52mm dual-tension ball head
The included 52mm ball head gives the user independent control over positioning and resistance. Its dual-tension design allows the head to be adjusted for deliberate movement, then locked firmly once the rifle or optic is on target. This combination supports rapid orientation changes without sacrificing the stable hold needed for observation or a carefully built shooting position.
An ARCA-SWISS-compatible interface makes the tripod suitable for equipment using the widely adopted ARCA-style rail and plate system. Before mounting, verify that the firearm, optic or accessory uses compatible hardware and that every clamp and fastener is fully engaged. The tripod is a support system, not a substitute for safe firearm handling or control of the mounted equipment.

Built for shooting and observation
The ZULU-DMR can serve as a stable base at a precision-rifle match, on the firing line, during hunting observation or while using spotting equipment. Carbon fiber delivers a useful balance of stiffness and portability, while the wide height range lets the platform adapt to multiple body positions. The adjustable leg angles and ball head also help the user establish a solid setup without forcing the terrain to be perfectly level.
Before every use, inspect the legs, twist locks, ball head and mounting interface. Confirm that the load is centered and remains below the rated capacity, and keep control of mounted equipment whenever a clamp or leg position is adjusted. When properly set up, the SIG SAUER ZULU-DMR offers a field-ready combination of strength, height, precise aiming adjustment and ARCA-compatible versatility.
