Bug OUt / Go Bag Set up
Your Bug Out / Go Bag setup should consider three key principles:
- Weight & Portability: A good balance between capacity and mobility
- Pack Type: Size, type, color, etc.
- Stealth vs. Tactical: Bright colors or camo? A “gray man” approach (neutral-colored civilian bags) is preferred in urban areas to avoid attracting attention.
A Go Bag is a lighter, more agile version of a BOB, meant for emergency scenarios where speed is critical (e.g., house fire, earthquake, active shooter, civil unrest). Think of it as a “get-home” or “grab-and-go” kit.
